Rubino AS-X, featuring the groundbreaking AS-X technology, showcases a whole adaptive design that, together with the new technology applied to its tree, enhances the saddle’s flexibility and allows the horse increased freedom of movement, maximizing its performance during the jumping phases without compromising the rider’s stability and comfort.
Entirely crafted in Italy with premium leathers, this saddle features a lifetime warranted unisex tree with various width sizes, a medium flat or medium deep seat, five panel options, and other technical and aesthetic customization options to meet both rider’s and horse’s needs. Rubino AS-X can be customized in Calfskin, Lux, or Elite leather and is available in Black, Tobacco, or London shade. The entire saddle design is studied to provide maximum flexibility.
The front part is designed to minimize thickness and provide the rider with a close contact sensation, while the rear part, with its large, injected membranes, offers great stability. The reduced thickness under the thigh increases communication between horse and rider. The adaptive attachment of the blocks allows the sweat flaps to flex, and the panels to follow the horse’s shoulders, improving its movement.
First tests led by an independent research centre on the saddle reveal more efficient and quicker push-off, unrestricted horse’s jumping sequence performance, improved rider’s balance, less impact with more efficient continuation after landing.
