Wilma grew up on the west coast of Sweden and first tried riding at the age of two. Wilma won the individual Nordic and Swedish Championships as a junior, as well as bronze in the Young Rider European Championships together with team Sweden.
In late 2013 she spent time in Switzerland training with Swiss equestrian Thomas Fuchs.
In 2014, when Wilma was 21, she got in contact with Otto Becker after being accepted for selection for the Young Riders Academy.
She worked for him for almost a year before moving to Netherland.
After that she I moved her horses to Angelica Augustsson-Zanotelli and her husband Marlon stable where she spent fantastic time. She moved then to Oliver Lazarus’ stables in Valkenswaard.
Wilma has a fantastic connection with her horses and in particular with the one-eyed mare Bjn “Queen” Cicci.
Wilma is a top-level rider, she not only took part in several World Cups, but won, in 2023, the Team Gold Medal at the Jumping European Championships in San Siro, Milan, Italy.
