Sarah’s profound passion for horses permeates in every aspect of her life and is especially evident through her training as well as when she is competing.
Her dressage journey began at the age of 10, when she discovered her love for horses and from then on, she dedicated herself to becoming a professional international Dressage rider for China.
Based at Pinfold stables in the UK, Sarah has competed at various shows such as Addington CDI, Hartpury festival, Windsor CDI and Le Mans CDI.
Sarah aims to create a strong identity for China in the sport.
She is coached by experts such as Richard Davison, a 4-time British Olympian and former British team captain at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, as well as Sarah Higgins – a top international dressage athlete who has trained Sarah from a young age.
A recent triumph of Sarah’s was at Le man’s CDI earlier this year. A double win was obtained and history was made for China as the Chinese national anthem was played for the first time ever at an international dressage competition. Additionally, she was also a dressage athlete for team China at the 2023 Hangzhou Asian games; she helped team China score silver. Also known as “The Chinese Dressage Girl” online, Sarah is recognised for her creative flair on Social media which translates through her style of content.
