This year’s appointment with the Longines CHI of Basel saw the Renaissance and Prestige riders secure important positions during this highly anticipated event.
The world number one, Henrik Von Eckermann with Iliana (Renaissance M), claimed first place in the Longines Grand Prix of Basel on Friday.
In the same competition, other Prestige riders (Sophie Hinners on Iron Dames my Prins – Rubino MF AS-X and Richard Vogel with United Touch S – X-Perience) finished in fourth and eighth places, respectively.
During these days, other riders also achieved podium finishes: Marlon Modolo Zanotelli with Talina du Vivier Z (Renaissance F) earned a podium position in the Prize of Thermoplan (1.45m).
The Prize of Grand Hotel Les Trois Rois Basel (1.50m) saw Martin Fuchs with L&L Upgrade (Renaissance F2 S) take the top spot, followed by Hans-Dieter Dreher on Vestmalle des Cotis (X-Perience) and Richard Vogel on Crack HV (X-Perience), who placed second and fourth, respectively.
In the LONGINES FEI Jumping World Cup™ of Basel presented by Bank J. Safra Sarasin (1.60m), the Swiss rider Martin Fuchs achieved a splendid fourth place with Commissar Pezi (Renaissance F2 S), followed by the Olympic eventing rider Sandra Auffarth (Rubino MF AS-X) in sixth place and the young Sophie Hinners with Iron Dames my Prins (Rubino MF AS-X).
