Kristian is a 21-year-old Danish rider.

Raised in a family with horses – his mother is a rider-instructor/riding-master – he has been riding since he was very young.

He started competing at the age of 11 and has since participated in four European championships. He earned two silver medals for pony teams in 2016 and 2017, one silver medal for junior teams in 2020, and most recently, a gold medal for young rider teams in 2023.

Noteworthy achievements include placing third in the Future Cup in Hagen and winning a silver medal at the 2023 Danish Championship for young riders. In the upcoming season, his focus will shift towards the U25/senior category, and he is eagerly anticipating this new challenge.

Kristian firmly believes that mutual trust between the rider and the horse is one of the most important things and to achieve that, you need to see the horse as your most important partner/teammate, so all the choices and decisions we take involves this idea.

Regarding saddle preferences, Kristian mentioned that he has always preferred to sit close to the horse with minimal support. He believes it’s crucial for the horse to feel comfortable and move in the best possible way with the saddle as the horse is his most important teammate.
