Michele is a Belgian Paralympic equestrian.

She won two gold medals at the 2012 London Paralympics, one gold and one silver at the 2016 Summer Paralympics, and two more gold medals at the 2020 Summer Paralympics.

In 2023, she secured gold at the European Dressage Championships in the individual events.

Michele has also received significant awards. Alongside goalball player Bruno Vanhove, she was chosen as Belgium’s flag bearer during the opening ceremony of the 2020 Paralympic Games in Tokyo.

She was honored with the 2021 Paralympic Sport Award by the Belgian Paralympic Committee in recognition of her two gold medals at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games.

In 2022, she was named Athlete of the Year at the 2022 Equestrian Sports Gala in Brussels, Belgium.
