Prestige Italia official sponsor of the U21 “Golden Saddle” competition at Partner Pferd 2024 in Leipzig

Prestige Italia at stands B18 and B03 pav. 1

From 18 to 21 January, Partner Pferd will take place, the equestrian highlight for the city of Leipzig.

This event is important not only for the international champions taking part – Leipzig is one of the qualifying stages for the World Cup – but also for the attention given to young horses and riders.

Prestige Italia will be present with its partners Schipler Reitsport (Hall 1 Stand B18) and Reitsportfachmarkt und Sattlerei Tom Büttner   (Hall 1 Stand B03).

In 2024, Prestige will have the honour of sponsoring the “Golden Saddle” competition.

The winner will be awarded the best-selling saddle from the Prestige premium line: the X-Perience.

This is a very special youth show jumping competition for riders under 21, because it was conceived by an equestrian legend: Hans Günter Winkler.

This show jumping icon passed away in 2018, but in his honour the ‘Golden Saddle’ competition will continue.

The special feature of the Golden Saddle is that it is a competition of style and the four pairs will also compete by swapping horses, as used to be at the WEG.

Jumping errors will be judged, but most importantly the rider will be judged on the correct use of aids, and position , as well as the most harmonious round possible, both with their own horse and with those of the other competitors. Our European Champion Marco Kutscher will be among the judges assessing the performances.

The list of previous Golden Saddle winners boasts the best that German show jumping has to offer.

Prestige ambassadors who have won this award include Daniel Deusser and Philipp Weishaupt.

Many names from the Prestige Italia  Ambassador Team will compeet during the Partner Horse 2024: Martin Fuchs (Renaissance F2 S), Daniel Deusser (Rubino MF AS-X), Marco Kutscher (X-Meredith), Peder Fredricson (Renaissance F2 S), Geir and Johan-Sebastian Gulliksen (Renaissance F2 S), Andrzej Oplatek (Renaissance F2 S), Cassandra Orschel (Renaissance F2S), Rene Dittmer (X-Perience), Marvin Jüngel (X-Perience) and Niklas Schipler (X-Perience).
