Prestige ambassador Sophie Hinners became the first female rider to win the Italian leg of the FEI World Cup. Riding Iron Dames My Prins (Rubino MF AS-X), she took first place in the Longines 5* Grand Prix of Verona, triumphing in the jump-off. Hinners is part of the Iron Dames team, a project that supports women in sports, and she expressed her pride in being part of such a special initiative.
Riding Iron Dames, My Prins embodies the talent and determination of women, proving that they can excel and stand out even in fields where they are still underrepresented.
In addition to her, other riders stood out over the competition days: Giulia Martinengo Marquet won the CSI 5*-W, qualifying for the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup 2024-2025 Grand Prix, with Delta Del’Isle (Rubino MF AS-X).
Marlon Zanotelli, Renaissance ambassador, triumphed in the CSI 5* W 1.55m on Saturday with GB Diamantina (Renaissance F), while Peder Fredricson, riding Alcapone des Carmille (Renaissance M), placed third in the same category.
Successes also came from overseas: Henrik Von Eckermann, on Glamour Girl (Renaissance M), won the CSI 5* in Monterrey, Mexico. Prestige rider Daniel Deusser also performed well, finishing fourth with Otello de Guldenboom (Rubino MF AS-X). Finally, in Toronto, Richard Vogel triumphed in the CSI 5* 1.55m Mad Barn Big Bang Challenge with Levi Noesar (X-Perience).
It was a weekend full of excitement for international equestrian sports, with Sophie Hinners and our riders bringing prestige to Prestige Italia and their teams.
