Grounded in expertise, respect for the morphology of the horse and rider, and technological innovation, Prestige has introduced a new technology: the AS-X technology. This unique and exclusive system adapts to the horse’s movements, emphasizing its athletic qualities.
“Observing the movement of the horse’s spine and back muscles, I realized that no saddle on the market fully accommodated them. Hence, the idea of designing an adaptive and flexible saddle that does not restrict the horse’s movements, ensuring stability and comfort for the rider. After various studies, prototypes, and tests, we have finally succeeded in launching a technology capable of revolutionizing the equestrian market”, says Andrea Rasia, CEO of Prestige Italia and the mind behind this project.
This revolutionary system arises from the combination of two technologies applied to the saddle tree: the “Adaptive System,” allowing both lateral and axial movement of the tree for the horse’s maximum freedom of movement, and “X-Technology,” which, through injected membranes on the back of the tree, ensures maximum comfort and stability for the rider, without compromise.
The tree with AS-X technology, unlike other trees made of carbon fiber or wood reinforced with iron, is not only more flexible due to its synthetic fiber material but genuinely follows the horse’s movements. This is achieved through a central joint designed to facilitate only the movements that do not harm the horse’s well-being and are necessary to emphasize athletic performance. On the other hand, the rider’s stability is not compromised by this movement, thanks to the overall design of the saddle, specifically engineered to guarantee it.
