Victory in the first stage of the GCL in Doha represents a momentous moment in the history of equestrianism, marking a decisive change of course. For the first time in the history of this prestigious circuit, a team made up entirely of women, the Cannes Stars powered by Iron Dames, took part in the competition. This participation is of profound significance, indicating a clear direction towards the affirmation of female talent and determination in equestrianism. The Cannes Stars are a shining example for all female riders. The team, consisting of Janne Friederike Meyer-Zimmermann on Messi van’t Ruytershof (Renaissance F), Sophie Hinners with Iron Dames Singclair (Rubino MF AS-X) and Sanne Thijsen riding Quidam RB, not only took part in the competition, but triumphed in the first stage of the GCL 2024, demonstrating extraordinary skill and determination. On the podium, in third position again Ambassador Prestige of the Riesenbeck International team: Philipp Schulze Tophoff with Clemens De La Lande Nrw and CARLA NRW and Christian Kukuk with Checker 47 and Chageorge (X-Perience). Our ambassadors also shone in Doha in the CSI3*: a first position won by Gerfried Puck, a rider sponsored in cooperation with our Austrian dealer Horse Expert’s, on Idiaal Special H.J (X-Michel Robert) followed by Henrik von Eckermann with Fufu Z (Renaissance M) and Antoine Ermann on Extraterrestrial ‘jac (Renaissance F2). Truly a great start to this GCT and GCL!
