This location has a unique charm. Aachen is filled with poignant moments, culminating in the farewell ceremony. It is a ritual that repeats every year, where all participants in the competition from various disciplines gather in the show jumping arena, riding before the audience to give the farewell to the edition of the following year. Spectators stand up, waving white handkerchiefs as a tribute and farewell.
