German rider, Lunger Beerbaum, certainly needs no introduction with show jumping titles, four Olympic gold medals, World and European medals and national awards to his name.
Right from the outset, it was possible to foresee the champion he was destined to become. He started by winning the German under-21 championship title and then continued his ascent to winning world championships.
His victory at the 1988 Olympics was unforgettable when he competed riding ‘The Freak’, a horse he borrowed after his own horse named ‘Landlord’ suffered an injury.
Ludger Beerbaum is not only one of the world’s greatest champions but also a man who is very capable and willing to pass on all his experience and values.
In 2015, he established a large equestrian centre in Riesenbeck with Constantin Freiherr Heereman: Riesenbeck International.
They organise competitions, courses and seminars. Ludger Beerbaum is keen to share his knowledge. Everything for the good of the horses! – this is his number one concern.
The Beerbaum stable has trained a large number of international champions: Henrik Von Eckermann, Christian Kukuk and Marco Kutcher to name but a few.
Ludger is a Prestige ambassador. He uses X- Michel Robert and the X-Perience on his horses
