Longines Fei World Cup Final 2023

In April, 42 riders will meet in Omaha to compete in the final of the Longines Fei 2023 World Cup.

This will be the exciting conclusion for athletes from 19 nations who had to compete on five continents to qualify for this final 2022/2023 season.

Among those admitted to this important event in the show jumping discipline there are also some Ambassadors Renaissance and Prestige from the Western European League.

Martin Fuchs riding Leone Jei (Renaissance F2S), already his partner in winning the European Team Championships and silver at the 2021 Individuals.

The world number two will on this occasion defend the title of World Cup winner, which he won a year ago in Leipzig with The Sinner and Chaplin.

Henrik Von Eckermann, who has held the top position in the world rankings for several months, is also expected to compete with King Edward (Renaissance M), his partner in several victories, from the Tokyo Olympics with the Swedish team in 2020, to the individual and team titles at the World Championships in Herning in 2022, to name but the main ones.

Other ambassadors to take part in this important event will be Richard Vogel (X-Perience), Janne-Friederike Meyer-Zimmermann (Versailles).

 

 

Richard, recent winner of a CSI5* with Accoton PS at the WEF Wellington in February and the U25 Hermes GP in March 2023, will compete with United Touch S.

Prestige rider Janne-Friederike Meyer-Zimmermann will be on this occasion with Messi Van ‘T Ruytershof.

Janne is a woman and sportswoman full of energy. After a break from competitions for a happy event (the birth of her son Friedrich), she resumed her equestrian career with great momentum.

In June 2022 she won the Nations Cup with the German team and finished the year by winning the GP of the World Cup at La Coruna riding Messi van’t Ruytershof.

We wish our champions great and well-deserved success in this eagerly awaited event, which we will all follow rooting for them!
