Victory in Bordeaux for Marlon Zanotelli, Renaissance Ambassador

Brazilian rider Marlon Modolo Zanotelli wins the show jumping world cup stage in the French city

The Jumping International in Bordeaux, boasting 27,000 m2 of show area, attracted a large number of visitors.

This event – hosted by the city of Bordeaux since 1979 – is one of the pillars of the ‘Show Jumping World Cup’ founded by Max Ammann with the blessing of the then President of the International FEI, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.

Almost 50 years after that first edition, Jumping International in Bordeaux is packed with initiatives and events; from conferences regarding horse health to the 2023 World Cup stage!

Prestige Italia also took part with its two brands: Prestige and Renaissance. There were plenty of welcome visits from our customers and guests attending the event.

Special thanks to our ambassadors Mark McAuley (Renaissance F2) , Thomas Carlile ( X-Optimax K ,Renaissance F) who stopped by the stand to say hello.

This edition also saw the World Cup stage victory going to our Renaissance Ambassador, Marlon Zanotelli (Renaissance F) riding VDL Edgar Mn, and the third position going to another top Ambassador, Henrik Von Eckermann (Renaissance M) riding King Edward, who’s also holder of the number one spot in the FEI rankings.

This edition was very gratifying for Marlon Zanotelli.  After winning the stage of the World Show Jumping Championships and narrowly missing out on the same position in the Grand Prix competition, he received the prize for best rider. He celebrated his victory with his daughters and his wife, the Renaissance rider Angelica Augustsson Zanotelli (Renaissance F).
